Originally known as "Yesterday & Today", Y&T is an American hard rock/heavy metal band formed in 1974. They hail from the East Bay area of San Francisco.

"Summertime Girls" remains as the band's most widely recognized song, along with fan favorites such as "Mean Streak", "Rescue Me", "Forever" to name a few.
